I suppose I could, thing is, when i removed the memory stick from it, it worked great, had no problems for about 3 or 4 days, then out of blue, started it again, only really bad. HDD is only 5 months old, was not used as it was in a closet for some time until my daughter needed it for school coming up. when I first powered it on after taking it out of storage, it booted slow, and ran sort of slow, and gave symptoms of low memory ( there was only 385MB in it) so thats when I added the 128 stick and probs went from there...I just cannot help but wonder why removing a memory stick would improve performance if even for a short while.
Sorry about starting in another section, I started it there because I thought HDD might be failing and figured I would get a better answer there...Sorry about that.
