You bought the wrong computer to try to play games with.

Your ram is compatible. This board has an AGP slot and will work with the eMachines power supply.

In order to continue using the preloaded eMachines Windows, you must do this.

Before doing the upgrade, go into device manager and change the IDE controllers to "standard dual IDE". Shut down and do the swap.

First time you boot back up, it will only let you in safe mode to activate by TELEPHONE. You must tell the Microsoft rep that you replaced a motherboard in an eMachines computer, you must read them the CD key from the case sticker, and also tell them the exact date you bought the computer and from which exact store. You will no longer be able to use the eMachines restore CD if anything happens.

The other option is upgrade the ram on the existing board and use a strong PCI video card - the power supply *should* be able to handle it, but you still won't get the gaming performance you could get with a decent AGP card.
