Your 640 is running at
69C?!? Are you sure the LGA775 heatsink is installed properly? I have a 631 that idles around 40C and maybe gets up to 46C under a mild load. If you installed the heatsink with the motherboard already mounted to the case, I'd remove it and reinstall the heatsink following the instructions
