I think I'll just have to use Netscape for now. With a 56k dial up connection, downloading browsers is not an option. If I figure anything out, I'll follow up here. I may have to re-install all of my graphics software and do a clean installation of IE to get back where I was. I'm thinking the problem must be in the registry. Based on what you said before, it sounds like IE relies on the file associations to display local graphics, but not internet graphics.
