Greetings all!

Haven't been here in a while... but then, haven't had any major problems lately! ~fingers crossed~

This particular problem has been ongoing for quite some time though. When I play virtually any type of media file on my system; MPG, MP3, WMP, whatever... the file will stutter or "skip" whenever a new program is launched. This includes watching a video on Myspace and opening a new browser window, or, if I'm listening to MP3's with Winamp offline and open another program such as Paintshop or Quicken.

This is very annoying and makes enjoying music while working on anything else nearly impossible. I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions anyone has to help me remedy this problem! You'll find my system stats in my signature.
