Eh, for non hardcore gaming pretty much any laser mouse will do.
I use a Microsoft 6000 series gaming mouse, but I'm pretty sure that's on the "low" end of gaming mouses.

Now that is a mouse =P Looks cool, 7 buttons. 2000 DPI (good god thats alot, my mouse is 1600 DPI and its sentivity is excellent)
It all really depends on how you like to play. If you like to be able to turn yourself around in FPS games in an instant with almost no mouse movement, the copperhead is a really good choice.
... Plus it has a single click DPI switch function, so you can slow it down on the fly (useful for sniping eh?)
...meh.. It's up to you though.
I'd just go for a quality laser mouse. Logitec makes some excellent ones, but I'd stay away from wireless if at all possible... for gaming anyways.
I don't care what anyone says, the latency and unreliablity created with wireless devices just won't do for gaming -.-;;
