It is a curved type (ergonomic) Microsoft brand. I've always used it on my lap and only the past 3/4 weeks it will not work half the time. If I hold it up to get it started it does all right until the next time. Is it dying and needs replacing? It has bells and whistles I never use and if replacement is needed it will be a vanilla model... I've checked connections and they are always OK. I don't think it could be memory... I have one gig.
