This is kinda scarry!...I am running out of things to try.
Should I go ahead and buy a cheap graphics card to try? Will it work with the possibly corrupt drivers still installed?
It appears that the next thing to try is to flash the BIOS.

Hey Dave,
I'd try a cheap videcard first --- just something simple you can pickup locally with a normal VGA port. I wouldn't go as far as flashing the bios yet, that just adds another variable into the equation at this point. HTH
