i didn't think about that, and after googling, i couldn't find much except for this (http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...p/product/3160) which mentions it works fine on mandrake 10. granted, thats not across the board, but seeing as how FreeNAS is free and made to do the job, it might be worth trying
