Just for the heck of it I called Ameritech to see what they would charge for T1 service. They wanted $1500.00 just for the install, I stopped them right there. $1500.00 is just too much up front, especially when Corecomm was a free install and free Cisco router. But anyway as it turns it out Ameritech is running a special, 1.5 mbs (256kbs upstream)DSL service for $79.95 per month with 5 static ip's. That's only $30.00 more than paying right now for 768kbs and a dynamic ip. This seems like a pretty good deal to me. What do you think?
