Paid my respects last night

Went last night with a few friends to pay our last respects to a great man, and a great president. Took us just over 5 hours from when we started in line (9:40pm) to actually view the casket (2:50am). I've attached a Google Earth map of our treck - here's some snapshots:

-The starting point for the line at one point crossed the pedestrian bridge we originally started on.
-It took us about 2 hours to get inside the DeVos Place Convention Center (Spelled DeVos - spelled it wrong on the graphic). That's were things got real interesting - we felt like were were at a huge amusement park in a never ending line for a ride. We were going back and forth in the convention center for 2+ hours.
-Once we were back outside, it was about 1:30am and very cold. I hadn't planned on it taking nearly this long and didn't exactly prepare and only had a light weight coat on (it's been fairly mild in West Michigan). For the next hour or so I couldn't feel my ears.
-Once we got through the line we went and look at all the makeshift memorials that have been placed at the Museum entance (the ending spot on the map) - considering Gerald R. Ford was only in office 29 months, I was blown away by the sheer number of memorials. A real testiment to what he stood for and who he was.
