If you are bound and determined to run servers on a DSL connection, what you should really do is get rid of that 2Wire and get a standard bridge modem and a quality 3rd party router (like a Linksys WRT54GL with dd-wrt firmware). Put the server in the router's DMZ.

If you are paying for a static IP, you should have a static IP, not one that changes every 2 weeks.
