www.moosoft.com to get a 30 day eval copy of The Cleaner and run it. Sounds like a trojan.
She also should have a current, *updated* copy of Norton or another good antivirus package installed, and run that too. I think you can still download a free copy of Inoculan.
Zone Alarm firewall wouldn't be a bad idea too, it's free.
