Thats a good question. I'm only running a 1.26GHz cpu and if Vista slows down my applications I may need to uninstall it.
I did contact newegg customer svc this afternoon and they assured me that they their invoice works in place of a receipt for a new pc preloaded with XP MCE. I will be sending off my upgrade request ASAP. I'll post back when I receive it.
