Newegg does make exceptions on dead pixels.

Albeit, this one had more than one dead pixel (less than 8, though)

Saw this on Resellerratings.com

Dear temp4insquote,

Thank you for taking the time to post your informative review. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience caused by your experience, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Our policy guidelines are similar to most in the industry, as well as the manufacturer. Newegg doesn't get any special treatment when it comes to returning items to vendors, so we also are not allowed to return any item with less than 8-dead pixels; however, we are always willing to make exceptions for our customers, and we should have done the same for you here. We have issued you an RMA, and we will be happy to replace the defective item for you.

If you should need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Jason at 800-390-1119 (dial 25078 immediately).

Best regards,
Newegg.com
