If I remember right, I read somewhere that Vista has done away with hardware sound support, which will obviously hurt cards makers like Creative. I also read that Creative, as pam123 mentions, has, or is at least working on a fix so folks with Audigy cards and the like will still be able to get full benefit from them. For me, that's just another reason to not rush out and get Vista...
