I've heard news that Vista will be like ME, and phased out or passed over within a year or so, and the REAL OS will be released early next year.

Someone was trying to tell me that M$ has made so many flaws and mistakes with this new OS, that the only way to do it right is to start over and make a new system. Service Packs and updates will not be enough to make this think as smooth as XP is now. Of course this could just people making up stuff so they can hear their own voice, but I did hear it from quite a few different sources.

But if you take a look at Service Pack 2 for XP, it's almost as big as the OS itself. Real large file, LOTS of data. I don't remember XP being like this, I waited until the first SP was allready out, but I DO remember ME. WOW was it terrible.
