I have been trying to figure out why i can not open up my windows firewall or do a roll back on my notebook. I have been trying to get to the bottom of it for awhile and today after running 8miles i figured it out. I went to xbox 360's website and found this

Xbox 360: You receive an error message on a computer that is running
Windows Media Center when you run the Windows Media Center Extender
Setup program and you have Windows Firewall turned off on the computer

SYMPTOMS
If you have Windows Firewall turned off on a Microsoft Windows Media
Center-based computer, you receive the following error message on the
computer when you run the Windows Media Center Extender Setup program:
Xbox 360 Setup is Finished.
The correct ports cannot be opened.

The current configuration of the Windows Firewall is preventing a
successful connection to the Xbox 360.

CAUSE
This issue occurs when you have Windows Firewall turned off on the
computer. During Media Center Extender Setup, Windows Firewall has to
be updated to allow communication between the Windows Media
Center-based computer and the Xbox 360 console. If the Windows
Firewall service has been stopped, these updates cannot occur.

So after doing that I got ANOTHER error, so i went to microsoft AGAIN!

SYMPTOMS
When you (as an administrator) try to start a service in the Services tool in Control Panel, you may receive the following error message:
Could not start the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service on Local Computer.

Error 123: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
The following error message may be logged in the System log:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Computer: SERVER
Description:
The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service failed to start due to the following error:
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
NOTE: These error messages come from the Services Control Manager and can occur for any service, not just the Exchange Server services.

WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, in the registry, make sure that the ImagePath value for the service that returned the error message does not contain any extra characters or spaces. To do so, you have to use Registry Editor.

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

To make sure that the ImagePath value for the service that returned the error message does not contain any extra characters or spaces:
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate the ImagePath string value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS
NOTE: This step applies to any service under the Services key in the registry.
3. Open the ImagePath value on the right, and then make sure that it does not contain any extra colons (

, spaces, or characters.

The following is an example of correct string value for the Exchange Information Store service:
C:\Exchsrvr\Bin\Store.exe
4. Quit Registry Editor.

Now Im thinkin yes i'll finally be playin breaking benjamin while I shoot people in Saints Row right? WRONG!!! Because after going into registry editor and going to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
I find out that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS does not exist on my laptop or my uncles who has the same model but his doesnt have a few things like mines does. CAN SOME1, ANY1, PLEEEASSSE HELP? I'M BEYOND FRUSTRATED, I ALMOST THROUGH MY laptop at my 50inch HD 1080i tv, thats how frustrated i am with this. You guys have always helped me out, id really appriciate it.
