Since you're going to add a sound card the quality of the on-board sound of the P5B is a non-issue. The sound card will take care of the sound chores and the on-board sound won't do anything (be sure to disable it in the BIOS).

Please post a updated list of all the parts you're getting for this computer so we can check for compatibility.
