Although MAC address filtering gives an extra layer of security it's easily bypassed (
Google). Use WPA2 (not WEP) with a random 63 character key and you will be safe (for now!). WEP, MAC filtering, hidden SSID's and changing the SSID are barriers to curious neighbours but will not stop a determined intruder.
