Hello all,

The battery on my Inspiron notebook will not charge for some reason. When I plug in the ac adapter, the laptop uses AC power but doesn't charge the battery. It's weird, every now and then the battery will actually charge. Is the battery basically dead or is there something in the power options that needs to be changed? I got this notebook after their battery recall, so I don't think its a naturally defective battery.

I can give any more info if needed.
