A friend just got a Asus G2P (I think that was the model) and it games pretty nice. Not sure of the specifications and personally I would want it to be a bit smaller, has a 17 in monitor, but from what I saw it looked pretty sweet. I have also read alot of good reveiws for the Asus G1 and was considering it myself for when my job sends me out of town. Smaller size and less powerful but much more portable.

Have another freind who games on a 17" Alienware. It has nice performance also, but has been back to Alienware 3 times this year getting repaired so I would be a bit concerned with their quality control right now. The second time they returned it to him it looked like someone took a hammer to the case. They ended up replacing it so all is good but in total he lost about two months playiing time during the year while it was being repaired.
