Exclamation Vista formatted my drive, please help me get back files!

I recently tried to upgrade from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate x32. During the upgrade install, the install failed and told me that it could not restore the previous os. This left me with only a command prompt. I decided to format the drive and do a clean install. I realized after the format that I had my Firefox bookmarks, and my outlook emails on that drive. All other important files were on other drives.

1) Is there a program anyone suggests to search for deleted files from before the format?

2) What files should I be looking for in order to restore my bookmarks from Firefox and my outlook emails? Outlook was installed to another drive that is still good with all it’s files, Firefox was installed to the drive which was formatted.

3) Most of my programs were installed to a separate drive from my os which was on the main drive. The program files for all my programs are still on the other drives is there an easy way to restore these programs or will I have to go back and reinstall each individually?

I appreciate any help or answers to any of these questions that anyone can offer. THANKS!

~JEFF!
