Well, if you can explain to me how a "rootkit" got on my computer from my home theater system or from my memory card (software install not required)... or from liambl's TV's, walkman or playstations...fire away.

List some products in your home and I'm willing to bet that I can find some dissatisfaction somewhere which would be reason for you to rid yourself of the product and not purchase their brand anymore... when it's an "instance" thing, no reason to get worked up over it... when it's a repetitive and chronic thing, then fine, one should reconsider.
