I'll have to read it a dozen times as it's as clear as mud:

What is IntelŪ Extended Memory 64 Technology?

IntelŪ Extended Memory 64 Technology, or IntelŪ64, is an enhancement to Intel's IA-32 architecture. The enhancement allows the processor to run newly written 64-bit code and access larger amounts of memory. These extensions do not run code written for the IntelŪ ItaniumŪ processor.
Sounds like 32 bit...

Is IntelŪ64 the same technology used in the ItaniumŪ 2 processor?

No. IntelŪ64 is an extension to Intel's processors based on the IA-32 architecture.
Still sounds like 32 bit...

I have two platforms: one based on an IA-32 architecture processor family with IntelŪ64, and one based on an IA-32 architecture family without IntelŪ64.
Even just the question says it's 32 bit...

A lot of weasle words to me. If it's a 64 bit CPU, why not simple state it's a 64 bit CPU???

I think that omission is a very big statement in and of itself.
