Well I don't have XP yet, but what I used to do to make Winamp display the song's name was inserting the CD and creating a playlist enty in the Windows CD Player. Then I closed the CD Player and started MusicMatch Jukebox. MM Jukebox then recognized the tracks and its names with no need to use the CDDB servers. After converting the track to MP3 the names were displayed.

Now that I know that Winamp lets me edit the Files' info I don't do this anymore.
