computer wont boot with RAID controller enabled
So I tried enabling my extra SATA RAID controller (silicon image) so that I could have extra SATA ports (not to be used as raid, just to be used as regular SATA ports). Trouble is, when i enable it, it goes to the point where it should come up with either the windows XP loading screen, or say "no operating system found", but it just hangs and does neither. even if i tell the bios to boot from the hard drive where the OS is located (which is NOT on the raid controller SATA ports) it won't boot. I can't seem to figure this one out for the life in me, and have read all the documentation to no avail.
