This doesn't always solve the problem. Yes i know 64 bit OS ALL support more than 4 gb of ram... Thats true and i have to agree... But if your mobo ONLY support a MAX of 4 i doubt you will still see it all because of motherboard resources. It supports max of 4 but it still need some of that to allocate other stuff on the board. If your motherboard fully supports 8 gb of ram and 64 bit cpus, then you will see the full 4 gb WITH a 64 bit OS.. Im not just saying this out of anywhere though cause it really happened to me and i also found out the hard way.....
