Oh, it's nothing to do with piracy. I play online poker for a living and an e-friend and I frequently exchange videos of each other playing for analysis.

I don't expect you to believe me, but I'm not sure what I could say that would

I don't need anything better than lan, but it just seems like transferring files via msn messenger/limewire would be too slow and I don't want videos of my play getting out to the general public (ie that could get my play exploited).

If I do it with torrents, wouldn't the general public be able to get access to them?

dave21, never thought of it, no. How do you transfer files via irc anyways? I thought that was just a chatting client?
