Good mother board, but not SLI capable. Many here will tell you that SLI isn't really worth it.
For the rest of the parts, here is something to start with:

HD: Seagate 7200.11 500gb sata
DVD: Lite-on dvd burner sata retail
Power Supply: Corsair 650
Video Card: EVGA 8800gts 512
OS: personal preference
Case: Personal taste.
