CPU Temps AMD 64 Dual Core
I just completed a recent build and am tweaking the system and making adjustments over the days after the system has ran for a while. My AMD 64 has this "Cool and Quiet" feature as well as a "Q" fan control which allows the system to adjust the fan speed as required depending on the load and the resulting temperatures. I had those disabled at first to see what was happening and the unit was very noisey. I enabled the "Cool and Quiet" feature first to see what would happen and the fan was perhaps a little quieter. I now enabled the "Q" fan and the system is much quieter althoiugh when it booted out of the BIOS there were two beeps and the warning that the CPU fan may be going too slow. I left it and continued on to see what will happen. After I use it for a while I would like to go back to the BIOS to see what the teperatures are after some use. Before I changed to enable the "Q" fan the CPU temp was between 27 and 28C and the MB temp around 30C with the CPU fan speed around 3068. How hot would be an acceptable temperature? My other system that ran an AMD Sempron under load was around 39-41C and it ran like that consistantly. Any worries?
