another thought...
if i use symantic system restore & it brings me back to original shipped condition, then i should still have all the software that was installed by Dell, right? although without the 3 years of updates. but i should be able to update those? easily?
is that the same thing as doin system restore to beginning(shipped date)

ok Alaron...
perhaps there should be a code of conduct posted for first time users prior to allowing us to sign up.
that way no one gets annoyed, just a thought...

although that does not seem to work so well, clicking on edit does not keep the conversation in order does it?
