Is the router a wireless router? Are the other computers going to connect to the router with wireless or with cables? You should be able to connect to the wifi in client mode. I know it's easy to do in my custom DD-WRt firmware but I'm not sure it's an option on all routers. The best solution is probably to pickup a wireless bridge, connect to the wifi with that, and then connect that to either the router or just a simple switch.
