PCMech Forums - View Single Post - wireless shows connection, cant connect to the internet

It is a friends Gateway, OS is XP, not sure on the wireless card (Asus I think). It shows I have connection with the wireless, but when I try to browse the internet the browsers (ie6 and firefox) say cannot connect. Thanks for the reply.
