Everything with the new build is working great except for my USR 5686 External modem. The download speeds are not much more then 3 kbps. Browsing is OK I guess, but not up to par with the Supra DI5630 PCI modem I had in the old puter.
It downloaded around 5kbps or so and showed connected at 48000 most of the time although I know thats not usually accurate. I downloaded the latest drivers for it and no better. Could there be some changes that need to be made to the serial port in the bios? What about init strings? Cant seem to find any info on he USR site either....
