No. It works just like any other draft. The way the league is set up, you play the following each week:
1 QB
2 WR
2 RB
1 TE
1 Flex (can be either a WR or RB)
1 K
1 team defense
1 individual defensive player
You also have 6 bench players of any position.
You rotate them in and out with your bench each week, depending on byes, injuries, and who you think is better. You can drop "bad" players and replace them with "free agents" (players who nobody has picked) any time during the season. You get points corresponding to each individual's stats that particular week. You "play" a different opponent in the league each week, whoever gets the most points wins the game.
If you are a beginner, I recommend you let the computer pick the players during the draft.
