I received a reply from Flip Video Support, This is what fixed it. They sent a list of things to try, One of them was disable USB2 Enhanced Host Controller. When i now plug in Camera i get a balloon warning (This device can perform faster if you connect it to a USB2 port,for a list of ports,click here.) However clicking balloon opens up the Flip programme and it works 100%. Is there anyway that disabling this affects other USB devices that are connected. All appears to work as normal ie Mouse,ADSL Modem etc. I had a problem disabling USB2 Enhanced Host Controller, i could not disable it without going in to safe mode. Computers sure are a mystery,how can disabling a high speed USB facility fix problem?
