Monitor KILLS power cords
I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the subject:
I have an LCD monitor, a ViewEra 19" that is about 3 years old. In the passed six months I have had to replace the power cord from the wall to the DC converter twice. All that happens is that the screen turn black, the illuminated power button turns black and then the monitor emits a funny noise that continues until I disconnect the video cable. After that I got a new power cable hooked everything up and it works fine. The old cable no longer works for anything.
Any ideas???
