Question Freezing problem

Hi gang

Well her goes another of those tough problems to explain and probably to solve, but here goes nothing.

I have XP home, SP3, Yahoo mail, and use IE 7 browser.

Now I can be doing any thing, e-mailing,, browsing, etc and my cursor freezes, changes to an hour glass, and there is a little white square that pops up in the top left hand corner, and if you put the cursor on it, the cursor changes back to a pointer and gives you the choice of closing it, (what ever is on the computer).

If I don't do anything, that hour glass will stay like that forever, never go back to what it was doing, just stays a hour glass until I do some thing, like go up to that little white square or CTRL, ALT, DELETE. Then I have to reclick on my IE icon to start things all over again. Then when that opens up again I get a little box asking if I want to resume, or start a new session.

I know this is hard to explain, buy hopefully some one can make heads or tails of this, and have an idea of what is causing this. I have deleted IE7 and reinstalled it, and the same for my Yahoo toolbar, etc.

Thanx....Gunny
