I'm gonna disagree with you on this one Toaster. I run WinME and find that gaming really isn't any different in WinME that it is in Win98. 3DMark2000 benchmarks were only minimally better with WinME on my system (about 20 points). The only thing I really notice better with WinME over Win98 is a faster boot time and that some programs launch noticably faster. WinME seems to handle memory over 256Mb a bit better too. Other than that, performance wise, they seem pretty equal.
