Just to keep an update.
I managed to get my triple boot working.
I basically followed this guide:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook/TripleBoot
And refered to this guide for some clarification when needed:
http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/Trip...t_via_BootCamp
Now I did run into problems not listed in those guides. I figured out it had to do with the version of my macbook. Apparently all the ubuntu series have been tested and are working with macbook versions upto 5.1
I happen to have a newer one with version 5.2 This led to an initial problem of the live cd not booting. I would get a black screen. I followed the first post here:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/3623
That allowed it to boot, and thusI followed the previous mentioned guide and got it working.
As of now, it's just too many things not working for my taste. I will probably leave all the partitions alone till a newer version comes out, and will try to install it again after that.
As a side note, this is what would/should work with macbook version 5.1:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook5-1/Intrepid
I may try some of those manual fixes to see if it works any better, but I will not be directing all my time to this.
