I never saw avira do that before. If it did that on your computer, I would definately feel like something is wrong.

In my opinion, and antivirus that becomes un-usable when there is a virus sort of fails my checklist as far as being worthy of having. Kind of like having a car with a great engine, but no wheels. Makes the engine sort of pointless.

But i do believe that is not the norm with avira.
