I hard to replace the disk in my Powerbook G4, it's a 2.5" IDE inside. It isn't the easiest to get apart and I bought mine from newegg and it ran so much better after swapping it out. Mine came with an old 4200rpm drive, a new 5400rpm drive was a huge upgrade.
