OK i have three hard drives, an 80gb with vista on. an 80gb, split into 2 40gb partitions. The first has Win7, and the second has ubuntu. Then i havee a third 500gb disk with my files on.
I Got all the partitions sorted out first, and got my files on to the 500gb, i formatted the w7 partition from inside vista, ready to take win7 on it. i left the other 40gb as 'raw'
I Then installed vista, all was good. I could turn on the comp, and i could choose between the two. After id done that i installed ubuntu on the 'raw' partition. (the installer formatted it to ext3 or w/e its called)
The installer then rebooted my system and left me with 'grub loading error 22'
Now from reading round the net it seems this means 'wrong partition' so i thought it might me trying to load the wrong drive first in BIO or something, but ive tryed the vista drive, and the w7/linux drive and primary boot devices and had no luck.
What do i do now? Im guessing im gonna have to use the ubuntu live cd and edit the files some how, but i dont know what file to edit, or how to edit it :/
Any help would be appreciated
