Anyone heard of flash cookies before?

I think I missed the boat on this one, but I just read the article about flash cookies on wired - http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2009/...s-think-again/

Here's the link with more info and ways to remove them (for mac)- http://machacks.tv/2009/01/27/flusha...tool-for-os-x/

Instructions for Windows are at the bottom of the wired article.

In the comments section people say they use ad block and noscript to help repel them...does anyone here use those, and are they worth installing?

Should one even bother worrying about them?
