I have been running windows 7 for a while.. and i am having this issue where my screen "freezes"

It kinda gets all blurry in diagonal lines... it happens allot when i launch a game or sometimes just random. If i wait a little bit it fixes itself.. I tried to take a screen shot if it.. but i looked at the screen shot and it just displayed what i should have been seeing.. not the weird distorted lines.

What is my problem..

I already upgraded my video card firmware.. which is a 7900gtx btw
