Ok, after spending the weekend using the trial version of ULead's Video Studio, I have to say I'm suprised at it's limits. It only has one video and audio track and does not support realtime playback.

I'm starting to look at Adobe Premier, but would like to know if someone has used other programs that they would recommend (same price or less). I don't want to have a full audio mixing studio, but I would like to be able to use multiple tracks.

Also, if I go for Premier, I might as well get it packaged with a Pinnacle DV200. I plan to upgrade to a digital camera at some point.
