I hooked up the old PSU & it POST's.
It won't boot because the new drives are not connected, they have SATA power conn's.
The old PSU does not have SATA power connectors. The OEM hard drive was a hitachi that had SATA data, but the old style 4-pin 12V connector, weird?

I can't hook up the new hard drives yet. The only drives that have power are the old IDE CD/DVD.

I am waiting for a Knoppix ISO to download to see if it will boot from the IDE CD/DVD drives.

I'm thinking the PSU is toast, but I won't do anything until I post back.

I gotta admit this is fun.
