Okay - why no sound card? The onboard sound these days is excellent, and you can always add one later. A single 6970 is all you need for a high end gamer, but I speced a power supply that can handle 2 if you really need it. The stock heatsink/fan that comes with the CPU is plenty adequate, and you don't need any additional cooling.
