hey man_war,

You should not use that RAM with that motherboard.

Newegg.com - ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

If you go into details under the "Memory" section. You can see that it tells you it only has 4 physical slots for memory and is a dual channel board. Do you absolutely have to have that mother board? Or would you rather have that RAM with a new motherboard?
